Electronic Games

 
The Somerset Public Library has a large collection of XBox, Xbox 360, Gamecube, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Wii and Nintendo DS games for you to borrow.  New games are often added to the collection, so visit the library for the newest titles.

Policy on Electronic games

   The rules for borrowing electronic games are as follows:
 
 
  • Games must be checked out by an Adult on an Adult Library Card in good standing.
  •  
  • Limit of 2 games PER FAMILY at a time.
  •  
  • Loan period of 1 week –No Renewals
  •  
  • Rental fee of .50 cents per game
  •  
  • Overdue fines of .50 cents per day, each day overdue
  •  
  • No holds permitted
  •  
  • They MUST be picked up at the Somerset Public Library, and they MUST be returned to the Somerset Public Library.  You cannot return them to another library.
  •  
  • Replacement fee for lost or damaged games is $50.00 each game.
  •  
  • The library staff cannot give technical help on electronic games. 
 
The Library is not responsible for damage caused to equipment using these electronic games. 
Please be advised that all of these games are rated.  A complete printout explaining the ratings is available at the circulation desk.  A brief summary of the ratings is included on the back of this page.

Instruction booklets for each game are available at the circulation desk and may be read in the library, they many not be taken out of the building.
