May is GET CAUGHT READING MONTH: the best time to get caught red-handed (or should we say "read" handed?)! For your reading pleasure this month we're displaying memoirs in honor of PERSONAL HISTORY MONTH. Pick up a fascinating life story, and some genealogy materials to help you explore your own personal history. Our genealogy reference page will help you get started.  There's a lot to celebrate in April (not the least of which is Spring weather, should it ever decide to come!). April is Poetry Month as well, and whether you're outside enjoying the weather or curled up inside on a rainy day anytime is a perfect time to enjoy some poetry. We've got a great poetry collection at the Somerset Public Library and we've pulled some all stars for this month's display. From Maya Angelou to Emily Dickinson and Langston Hughes to Sylvia Plath we've got it all for you to enjoy. National Library Week, April 11-17 SPL is going green this April! We've got two big events to celebrate. April 11-17 is ALA's National Library Month.
