Group sightseeing in France: tour bus vs. private minibus rental?
When planning group sightseeing, the debate is always between booking a traditional tour bus or renting something smaller like a minibus. Tour buses are often tied to fixed schedules and routes, which can be restrictive. A private option gives you freedom, but I’m not sure how big the difference really is in terms of cost and convenience. What do you think—does a minibus make the experience significantly better, or is it just a pricier version of the same thing?

I’d say going with a van company in France makes a noticeable difference. Unlike large tour buses, a private van or minibus can adapt to your schedule, stop at places you want, and avoid crowded tourist timings. The flexibility is worth it, and when you divide the cost among a group, it isn’t much more expensive. Plus, it feels more personal than being part of a massive bus tour with strangers.
