Last winter I was stuck in this super confusing situation. My roommate got sick and tested positive, and I was sharing the same kitchen and bathroom with him. I didn’t have any symptoms at first, but I panicked and booked a PCR on day two after he told me.
Wait, this sounds very familiar. Last winter everyone encountered this kind of thing, living with an infected person not knowing how to manage. But testing on day two is a bit hasty, the virus needs about 3 to 5 days to be caught by PCR. Testing too early gives false negatives easily, then a few days later it turns positive. Best to self-isolate, observe symptoms, retest on day 5 or 6 to be sure. When waiting gets too worrying, open drift boss to play so you don't overthink.
