Hoopla is a digital media service offered by your local public library that allows you to borrow movies, music, audiobooks, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on your computer, tablet, or phone – and even your TV! With no waiting, titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded to phones or tablets for offline enjoyment later.

Libby

Libby is a free service offered by your library that lets you borrow digital content (like ebooks and audiobooks) anytime, anywhere. Every Libby collection is slightly different because every library picks the digital content they want for their users. All you need to get started with free digital content from your library is a library card!

The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) is the agency of state government with the statutory authority and responsibility to organize, develop, coordinate, and improve library services throughout the Commonwealth.

By going to the MBLC website, visitors can learn about the MBLC budget and current legislative activity, and the affiliate service organizations that MBLC funds.

Open Library

Open Library is a catalog. This resource has well over 20 million edition records online, provides access to 1.7 million scanned versions of books, and links to external sources like WorldCat and Amazon whenever possible. 

NoveList Plus

NoveList Plus is a comprehensive readers’ advisory resource. In addition to the fiction database that NoveList has offered, NoveList Plus adds nonfiction to provide a complete solution for readers.  With NoveList Plus, users can find titles, articles, and lists for both fiction and nonfiction.  NoveList Plus also includes audiobook information such as audiobook recommendations and audio samples.

SAILS Library System

SAILS Library System runs and supports the Enterprise Online Catalog and Circulation systems for 72 libraries and branches throughout 40 communities in Southeastern Massachusetts. Login to your account to browse the catalog, put books on hold, and to see what books you currently have checked out. You can also pay your library fines with SAILS.

Tumblebooks

TumbleBooks is a curated database of children’s e-books. This resource offers more than 1100 titles for grades K-6, and includes our unique animated, talking picture books, read-along chapter books, National Geographic videos, non-fiction books, playlists, as well as books in Spanish and French. Plus, the collection features Graphic Novels – a student favorite! There are no check-out times or wait lists: the books are always available, to everyone in your institution!
